A quick announcement and a favor
How do you manage the struggle between moving too fast and waiting too long?
Seems to be an art we learn from experience.
I’ve learned the right moment is usually when you think it’s a shade too soon. That’s when you go.
That’s what I’m doing.
I’m ready to build the Straight Talk Framework into the Straight Talk Program for Leaders. I’m drawing on the last year of experience developing, using, and teaching the Straight Talk Framework and advancing it into a powerful program to elevate security leaders.
Not only part of the Leadership Summits, I’m making the program available online. Some of you (okay, a lot of you) have been pushing me to offer something online for the last year. For a variety of reasons (I’ll expand on them later), I see now that the time is right. Plus — as has been impressed upon me — our industry needs this. Now.
Imagine solving problems that advance security — while getting recognized for your leadership and not just your technical talent. As more of us build the capability, we change the conversation. We can literally work together to shift the industry and elevate each other.
To do it, I need a little help. I need your help.
I’m getting ready to run a short course before the summer is over. I’m finalizing the details now based on the last few in-person seminars. I want to make sure what I build is matched to your needs. That I answer the questions you have in a way that allows you to act quickly and get results.
Can you take a minute or two and answer these three questions:
Stay tuned (sign up here) as I continue to share what I learned over the last year:
- Insights on the triple challenge of leading security – and why it’s harder than other positions
- More about the questions, perspectives, and rounds of the Straight Talk Framework
- How to get recognized for your leadership and not just your technical talent
Look for answers to your questions.
We’re at the start of an exciting journey. I’m excited elevate and accelerate you on the path to exceptional leadership and powerful communication with the security mindset for success.
Let’s start with Straight Talk.
PS: Let me know if you want to be notified when the program launches here.
